Bead Soup Blog Party 4. Blog Hop

Welcome to the Bead Soup Blog Party 4!

The idea of the Bead Soup Blog Party is to help  think outside the box and work outside our normal comfort zone, pushing us into creative directions we may never have gone.
Each beader was paired up with another jewelry designer and tasked with sending the following:
~ A focal
~ A special clasp

~ Some coordinating spacers or beads
Using the focal and the clasp was mandatory, but we could use anything from our own stash to round out the rest, and choose to use the coordinating beads or not.

Bead Soup Blog Party!

My partner was Michaela (La mar de bonita). Here's what I have received from her:

And here's what I made!

1. A Rainy Day at the Seychelles Beach.

Necklace and Earrings Set.
Toggle, lampwork beads and focal from my partner. Czech crystal and seed beads from my own stash.

2. Pink Bomb.

Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings Set.
Lava beads from my partner.
Merino wool, crystal beads, glass and seed beads from my own stash.

And  this I have sent to my partner:

  1. Wow, Marina!

    Michi

  13. I am SO sorry for being late -- today our internet provider decided to crash. My stress level is through the roof, to say the least! They're still working on it, but it's like dial-up.

    I hope you'll participate again!

  23. Very Classy and Elegant Rainy Day Piece - your beading is pristine and what a perfect way to show off that beautiful lampwork focal. The Pink Bomb is precious as well. Very feminine. Love your work!
